Blakely is a smaller island just west of the Rosario Strait in the Salish Sea. The Island is predominately privately held with Seattle Pacific College being a large landowner. There is some hunting opportunity within this small GMU, however, the style of hunt is certainly not for everyone. If you’re looking for best private land access, presentation is key, some folks don’t mind a few pesky deer eating their garden hunted.

Most of the resident citizens of the island enjoy the deer and may be hard to receive hunting permissions from.
