Quick Tips
- Know your shooting lanes
- Tracking wounded deer is very unpopular on this predominantly residential island

This large, thin island lies parallel to Saratoga Passage and Admiralty Inlet, with lots of coastlines including Oak and Crescent Harbor and Penn Cove. With that being said, this unit has basically all privately held land in small personal use lots with the largest section of public being represented by Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, state parks, and nature conservancies. There is hunting opportunity within this small GMU, however, the style of hunt is certainly not for everyone.
Getting access to private lands can be a challenge in this unit.
