This is one of the most unique elk GMUs by far. The North Beach Peninsula is roughly 26-miles long and one-mile wide and is by Ocean Park, with the widest portion only five-miles wide. Both ends have Willapa National Wildlife Refuges in the lower tidal flats. The Pacific Ocean is located to the west and Willapa Bay to the east. This small narrow unit has a bit of everything, from vacation and beach homes, freshwater lakes, a little urban sprawl, undeveloped private lands, farmland, and state parks. This style of hunt is not for everyone, however, it is a unique opportunity to hunt two very unique animals. Take a deeper look at this unit if you want something outside the norm.
Hunt smart and stay patient.
